Sääntömuutosehdotukset koskevat vaalitapaa, varainhankintaa, hallituksen mahdollisia oikeuksia jäsenten osallistumisen kieltämiseksi yhdistyksen tapahtumista ja pieniä luettavuutta koskevia parannuksia.

Koska vaalien järjestäminen ja mahdollisimman hyvin äänestäjien tahtoa kunnioittavan vaalijärjestyksen kehittäminen on tunnetusti niin helppoa, että siitä vilisee erilaisia mahdollisia metodeja pilvin pimein, on työryhmä tehnyt kaksi vaihtoehtoista ehdotusta. The proposals for TKO-äly's new rules, and voting and election order guidelines are ready for the comment round.

The new proposed changes will concern how voting in the association’s meetings will be handled in the future, how we collect money, possible punitative measures that the board can take and small improvements to readability of the rules.

Since organizing elections can be tricky, two alternative proposals have been formed and are up for discussion in this meeting. The proposals are in Finnish, but we’re happy to translate the gist of them in English for you before the meeting, if needed. Both proposals are of single transferable vote electoral systems, but the way the votes are counted after a candidate is chosen is different, and the methods for tie-breaking in each system are different.

You can comment on the proposals using an electronic form before the discussions, and during the event the aim is to choose one version by listening to the opinions of those present and those who filled out the form. This proposal will then be evaluated and hopefully accepted by the association’s meeting.
